COVID-19 UPDATE
Flegra Collection happily announces the re-opening of Flegra Palace Hotel in 2021.
As we welcome you back to our Flegra Palace Hotel, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that is certified and aligns with expert hygiene protocols derived from the Greek government health authorities as well as from the World Health Organization. In order to offer you the highest safety standards possible, we have selected to operate under an official anti-covid certification.
A contactless and safe guest journey
Arrival
- Arrival from the Airport – A private taxi transfer through our associates, only guests of the same room permitted per car, thoroughly disinfected after each use
- Guest luggage disinfected
- Doors remain open or open automatically
- Regular sanitization of door handles, surfaces and buttons with certified disinfectants
- Airy spaces with fresh air circulating in all indoor spaces and common area
- A/C not in use across all properties
- Intensive staff training on PPE use, frequent deep sanitization and change of equipment, such as worn masks
- Disinfection of all equipment such as room keys, POS
- Sanitization stations set in place
- Visible safety signage
- Comfortable check-in procedures with safe distances & staff PPE
- Check in time adjusted to 15.00 hours
Guest rooms
- Guest room disinfection with aerial surface disinfection machine prior to guest arrival
- Deep cleaning of guest rooms with certified disinfectants
- Our laundry equipment has been upgraded and we are certified for the cleanliness and disinfection of linen
- On Request Cleaning – As per Governmental instructions, rooms are cleaned every 2 days. Guests however are free to request a daily cleaning service upon contacting reception.
- Stringent water testing, A/C cleaning and disinfection prior to guest arrival.
- A/C operation with the doors open – the usage of A/C within rooms at guests’ discretion
Food and Beverage
- Buffets with staff service
- Reservations required to facilitate safe spacing
- Breakfast served from 07.00 – 11.00 with time slots
- Open-air restaurant and indoor restaurant with fresh air circulating – no A/C in common areas
- Single-use and digital menus available to minimize physical contact, via QR Codes
- Frequent disinfection of all high-touch surfaces after each reservation
- Guest hand sanitization stations located in all venues
- POS machines and equipment sanitized between every use
- All employees wear masks and gloves for indoor serving
- Gloves and masks are changed regularly and staff receive intensive covid-safe PPE training
Kitchen protocols
- Staff workstations are spaced out to limit face-to-face interactions and secure appropriate social distancing
- Appropriate cleaning of all materials and ingredients used in kitchens
- Approved cleaning products and disinfectants used throughout kitchen areas
- Thorough sanitization of all kitchen utensils
Leisure
- Safe distance of 4 metres between umbrellas
- Disinfection of sunbeds, pool areas & equipment
- Increased water quality controls
- Indoor pool not in operation
- Our F Spa and Gym will be operating under the updated restrictions provided by the authorities
Departure
- Advance checkout is available to guests – bills prepared without physical contact
- Guest distancing applied through clear signage for a safe departure
- Hand sanitizers in place
- Check-out time adjusted to 11.00 hours

- Deep cleaning of guest rooms with certified disinfectants
- Our laundry equipment has been upgraded and we are certified for the cleanliness and disinfection of linen
- On Request Cleaning – As per Governmental instructions, rooms are cleaned every 2 days. For guests that do not wish to have cleaning services, new linen can be delivered every 2 days.
- A/C cleaning and disinfection prior to guest arrival. The usage of A/C within rooms at guests’ discretion
Departure
- Advance checkout is available to guests – invoices will be delivered by e-mail –
- You can leave the keys in the room and depart
